2022/09/15: Letter By General George Patton In Which He Refers To Jews As ‘Sub-Human’ Goes Up For Auction


 

 

(The Jewish Chronicle) Students of real World War II history are aware that America’s greatest general — George S. Patton — held some rather unsavory — though justified — views of Jews — as attested to by a letter he wrote which is about to hit the auction block:

A “dark and disturbing” letter typed and signed by Second World War hero General S. Patton exposing his deep antisemitism is up for sale on a historical memborabilia website.

The letter, dated 4 October 1945 and addressed to former aide Lt. Col. Charles R. Codman, was written just three days before General Eisenhower relieved Patton of his command of the Third Army and just two months before Patton’s death from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

In the letter, Patton seems to respond to a combative press conference that took place just two weeks prior in which Patton was blamed for the appalling living conditions at many camps for Displaced Persons, many of whom were Jews.

As a result of this press conference, General Eisenhower reportedly ordered Patton to improve the camps under his area of command and to attend a Yom Kippur service.

The letter, all but confirming the poor conditions of the Displaced Persons camps, reads: “So far as the Jews are concerned, they do not want to be placed in comfortable buildings. They actually prefer to live as many to a room as possible. They have no conception of sanitation, hygiene or decency and are, as you know, the same sub-human types that we saw in the internment camps.”

The letter also refers to the people of the Soviet Union as “the degenerate descendants of Genghis Khan” and says the envy, hatred, malice, and uncharitableness in Europe “passes beyond belief.”

Patton, who had been instrumental in securing Allied victory in Europe, was regarded by Adolf Hitler as “that crazy cowboy general” and won praise from enemy generals for his swift and audacious high-risk offensive manoeuvres.

After the war, Patton’s brashness, and indifference to the job of post-war re-education, and his desire to start another war with the Soviet Union, led to General Eisenhower and President Truman transferring him to a minor post with the Fifteenth Army.

Many years later, General Patton’s grandson, Robert H. Patton, would write: “The injection of antisemitism into his perception of the political dynamic of the occupation [of Germany] signalled his ultimate loss of moral bearings.”

The rare letter previously belonged to WWII memorabilia collectors Ira and Barbara Lipman but was sold in April of last year in New York City.

The current owner, and rare manuscript collector for over 40 years, told the JC: “There has never been another Patton letter even remotely similar content-wise. The timing of the letter alone, and it being from one of the most pivotal figures of the era, makes it a significant part of history.”

It should come as no surprise, once again, that this “antisemitic” letter had previous been in the possession of a Jewish collector — Jews dominate the WWII collectors market.

A wealthy Jew bought Josef Mengele’s diaries — and another wealthy Jewish collector recently bought a gold watch personally owned by Adolf Hitler — while their fellow Jews in the press pretended to be “outraged” that anyone would buy anything having to do with “Nazis.”

Note, that like the son of Josef Mengele, Patton’s grandson grew up under an onslaught of post-war anti-German, pro-Jewish propaganda — so it should come as no surprise that both were willing to throw their namesakes under the bus.

However, this letter somewhat soft-pedals how Patton really felt about the Jewish Displaced Persons (DPs) — his diary entries are far more scathing:

“…[Although] room existed, the Jews were .crowded together to an appalling extent, and in practically every room there was a pile of garbage in one corner which was also used as a latrine. The Jews were only forced to desist from their nastiness and clean up the mess by the threat of the butt ends of rifles. Of course, I know the expression ‘lost tribes of Israel’ applied to the tribes which disappeared — not to the tribe of Judah from which the current sons of bitches are descended. However, it is my personal opinion that this too is a lost tribe — lost to all decency.”

In fact, his infamous diary entry of September 17, 1945 reveals that the Jews literally made him nauseous:

“This happened to be the feast of Yom Kippur, so they were all collected in a large, wooden building, which they called a synagogue. It behooved General Eisenhower to make a speech to them. We entered the synagogue, which was packed with the greatest stinking bunch of humanity I have ever seen. When we got about halfway up, the head rabbi, who was dressed in a fur hat similar to that worn by Henry VIII of England and in a surplice heavily embroidered and very filthy, came down and met the General….The smell was so terrible that I almost fainted and actually about three hours later lost my lunch as the result of remembering it.”

In another diary enter, Patton described what he knew was a Jewish conspiracy of revenge against the vanquished Germans:

“Evidently the virus started by Morgenthau and Baruch of a Semitic revenge against all Germans is still working. Harrison (a U.S. State Department official) and his associates indicate that they feel German civilians should be removed from houses for the purpose of housing Displaced Persons. There are two errors in this assumption. First, when we remove an individual German we punish an individual German, while the punishment is — not intended for the individual but for the race, Furthermore, it is against my Anglo-Saxon conscience to remove a person from a house, which is a punishment, without due process of law. In the second place, Harrison and his ilk believe that the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews, who are lower than animals.”

Patton was well aware of the Jewish influence behind the scenes of World War II — and he knew that Eisenhauer was their “shabbos goy” — a humiliating and treasonous role that Patton would never stoop to. He wrote in his diary,

“There is a very apparent Semitic influence in the press. They are trying to do two things: first, implement communism, and second, see that all businessmen of German ancestry and non-Jewish antecedents are thrown out of their jobs. They have utterly lost the Anglo-Saxon conception of justice and feel that a man can be kicked out because somebody else says he is a Nazi. They were evidently quite shocked when I told them I would kick nobody out without the successful proof of guilt before a court of law . . . Another point which the press harped on was the fact that we were doing too much for the Germans to the detriment of the DP’s, most of whom are Jews. I could not give the answer to that one, because the answer is that, in my opinion and that of most nonpolitical officers, it is vitally necessary for us to build Germany up now as a buffer state against Russia. In fact, I am afraid we have waited too long.”

Patton knew that there was an orchestrated plan by the Jewish-dominated press to assassinate his character and turn the American people against him. He wrote to General James Harbord,

“I have been just as furious as you at the compilation of lies which the communist and Semitic elements of our government have leveled against me and practically every other commander. In my opinion it is a deliberate attempt to alienate the soldier vote from the commanders, because the communists know that soldiers are not communistic, and they fear what eleven million votes (of veterans) would do.”

Perhaps Patton’s greatest sin was his admiration of the surrendered German soldiers, along with the German civilians. He wrote to his wife on July 21, 1945,

“Berlin gave me the blues. We have destroyed what could have been a good race, and we are about to replace them with Mongolian savages. And all Europe will be communist. It’s said that for the first week after they took it (Berlin), all women who ran were shot and those who did not were raped. I could have taken it (instead of the Soviets) had I been allowed.”

There is no doubt that Patton was racially aware and astute — and that the war was fought against the wrong enemy — and that the Russian “allies” had much in common with their Jewish compatriots. He wrote,

“The difficulty in understanding the Russian is that we do not take cognizance of the fact that he is not a European but an Asiatic and therefore thinks deviously. We can no more understand a Russian than a Chinaman or a Japanese and, from what I’ve seen of them, I have no particular desire to understand them except to ascertain how much lead or iron it takes to kill them. In addition to his other amiable characteristics, the Russian has no regard for human life and is an all out son of a bitch, a barbarian, and a chronic drunk.”

On the other hand he wrote in his diary on August 18 about how the French General Alphonse Juin agreed with his sentiments about the German race:

“It is indeed unfortunate, mon General, that the English and the Americans have destroyed in Europe the only sound country — and I do not mean France. Therefore, the road is now open for the advent of Russian communism.”

Later diary entries and letters to his wife reiterate this same conclusion:

“Actually, the Germans are the only decent people left in Europe. it’s a choice between them and the Russians. I prefer the Germans….What we are doing is to destroy the only semi-modern state in Europe, so that Russia can swallow the whole.”

And judging from comments he made in his above-mentioned letter to General Harbord, Patton had every intention of returning to the U.S. and letting the American people know what the real reason the war was fought — and who their real enemies were:

“It is my present thought . . . that when I finish this job, which will be around the first of the year, I shall resign, not retire, because if I retire I will still have a gag in my mouth . . . I should not start a limited counterattack, which would be contrary to my military theories, but should wait until I can start an all-out offensive . . . .“

The Jews and their lap dog Eisenhower had no intention of allowing Patton to wake up the American people — and disrupt their plans to deliver Europe to the communists.
